Support

Please see this page for Zero-In tech support protocols.

Please visit this page for the Sweetgreen installation and construction guide.

Zero-In recommends no SG staff attempts to troubleshoot the screen when an issue arises. Please do not attempt to reboot the device at any point. For any issues with the digital menu boards, please open a ticket through the Sweetgreen support portal, Zendesk. The Sweetgreen support center will escalate tickets to tech.support@zero-in.com as needed.

If a support ticket comes in by 2 pm EST, the ZI Support team will address the ticket on the same day, not including weekends. There are some cases where we might not ‌be able to resolve the ticket on the same day since our team needs to confirm we resolve everything on site. Or there might be a longer response time if a Sg team member, not in our system, sent an incoming ticket. If a ticket is created after hours (5:30pm - 9am), it will not be addressed until the following day.

If a ticket cannot be resolved remotely, our support team will escalate the issue to our field service team. Where a technician will come on-site to fix the escalated issue. For lead time on when to expect a technician, it depends if the issue needs a signed-off estimate. As per the SLA, the Media Player & AV Hardware are billable, so if the hardware is out of warranty, we will need an estimate signed off before a technician can be dispatched and/or parts configured and shipped. If the hardware is in warranty, we can ship out the items on the same day if entered by 2 pm EST or can be shipped the following business day. This also depends on the current supply of hardware. All equipment comes with a 3 year warranty. Equipment that has been physically damaged or has water damage will not be qualified under warranty. Equipment that has been moved and then damaged by the client will also void the warranty. All damaged equipment will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. The ZI support team will check for a warranty on all equipment before providing an estimate for damaged equipment.

Digital Menu Board Layout

The Sweetgreen menu boards are comprised of 7 panels. Menu Data refers to menu information on panels 2, 3, and 6: menu sections, products, descriptions, prices, calories, etc. Large Feature (Panel 1), Create Your Own (Panel 4), Featured (Panel 5), and Promotional (Panel 7) panels all refer to the flat files. Digital Billboard at 32nd + Park

This digital billboard is exclusively used at 32nd + Park in NYC. This store features a unique front line, which is not customer-facing. Customers place their order with an Sg team member at the POS, and the order is sent to the Back-of-House for production. Like the DMBs, this store utilizes Menu Data and flat files. Large Feature (Panel 1), Large Feature #2 (Panel 2), Create Your Own (Panel 3), and Disclaimer (Panel 9) panels all refer to the flat files. These flat files are not controlled by Menu Data, as well.

Flex Screens

These Flex Screens are currently being used as marketing displays, and are being added to the scope for all-new locations. Sweetgreen’s long-term plan is to use the flex screens as additional real estate for the menu boards. These are composed of two landscape displays and have a standard layout or reverse layout matching the DMBs. These layouts follow the physical layout of a Sweetgreen store, so the guests see the order of content in the way they experience it. Please click here to see all stores currently utilizing flex screens.

Portrait Displays

The portrait displays are currently installed at select locations. Please click here to see all locations utilizing the portrait displays. These displays are commonly used for seasonal features or other marketing promotions. 32nd + Park is currently the only location with a touch screen portrait display. This allows guests to interact with the display, and tap through marketing or menu products.
