Branch Troubleshooting & Support Process

CONTENT ISSUES

If you notice an issue with the marketing or media content on the displays, please take a photo of the content issue and send it to content@zero-in.com with “Bank of Hawaii”, the location name, and “Content Issue” in the subject line. Please also include a store level contact that can be reached for verification during the troubleshooting process.

SCREEN IS BLACK or BLANK

If the screen has no text or content but the windows desktop visible on screen:

Reboot the media player that runs the screens by pressing the power button to turn the player off.

Wait 10 seconds and press the power button again to turn the player back on.

If you cannot locate the power button, the media player can be power cycled by toggling the ‘Bank 1’ button on the Panamax sm3 pro that is also located in the equipment rack.

If the screen is Black without any visible image, content, or background:

Confirm the display has power by inspecting the bottom of the display for a red indicator light. If no indicator light is visible please confirm the display circuit is powered by inspecting the breaker in the store’s breaker panel.

Confirm the Zero-In equipment rack housing(if applicable) the media player and AV hardware is powered.

SCREEN IS FROZEN

If content is frozen on screen:

Reboot the media player that runs the screens by pressing the power button to turn the player off.

Each device of Zero-in has a label reading the site location (i.e BOH-xxx-xxx)

Wait 10 seconds and press the power button again to turn the player back on.

If you cannot locate the power button, the media player can be power cycled by toggling the ‘Bank 1’ button on the Panamax sm3 pro that is also located in the equipment rack.

NO SIGNAL

If screen shows “no signal”:

Confirm the media rack is receiving power. If the rack is powered, inspect the video transmitters on the top shelves to confirm their LINK indicator lights are illuminated. Please report this to Zero-In support if the lights are dark.

1x3 Landscape

The resolution for the 1×3 landscape channel is 5760×1080.

3x1 Stacked

The resolution for the 3×1 stacked channel is 1920×3240.

Single Screen Landscape

The resolution for the single screen landscape channel is 1920×1080.

LED Wall

The resolution for the LED wall is 3840 x 720.

Accepted File Types

Below are the accepted file types for all display configurations.

File types accepted as-is:

Still: .jpg, .png (both in RGB Color Profile)

Video: h.264 .mp4 (10 Mbps constant bit rate – cbr)

All other formats must be reformatted to the above specs and resolutions.
